Our client is an international manufacturing company with a well-established production footprint in the region. The organization operates in a dynamic, mid-sized industrial environment, combining automated and manual production processes, with a diverse product portfolio and frequent changeovers. Production volumes are moderate, with a strong emphasis on flexibility, efficiency, and operational excellence.

To further strengthen the production organization, we are currently seeking a Production Segment Manager who will take a hands-on role in managing and improving shop floor performance. This position is aimed at candidates who combine strong operational expertise with leadership capabilities and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.

 

• Takes direct responsibility for production performance on the shop floor
• Ensures strong presence in production and active engagement with teams (hands-on approach)
• Drives improvements in productivity, quality, and efficiency
• Monitors and analyzes KPIs and initiates corrective actions where needed
• Identifies bottlenecks and implements sustainable solutions
• Ensures proper line balancing and workflow optimization
• Applies value stream thinking and continuous improvement principles
• Proactively addresses operational issues such as downtime, inefficiencies, and quality deviations
• Leads, develops, and motivates Team Leaders and Shift Leaders
• Strengthens accountability and ownership within production teams
• Ensures adherence to production targets, cycle times, and quality standards
• Collaborates closely with planning, maintenance, and quality functions
• Driving a culture of proactivity, problem-solving, and performance orientation

 

• University degree in a technical field
• Proven experience in a production leadership role (e.g. Production Manager, Segment Manager/Leader or similar)
• Strong understanding of shop floor management and production KPIs
• Experience in managing teams in a shift-based production environment
• Familiarity with value stream concepts and process optimization
• Experience in high-mix / low-volume production environments is an advantage
• Fluent in English
